Completing 5 years at the University of Dundee, the projects worked on have been diverse, interesting and educational. Ranging from, public, residential to temporary designs.
The Relic of The 21st Century - Y5
Project - As the population grows and the necessity to live within the city rises, the solution remains the same "The predictable repetition of monotonous tower blocks”. Analysing high-rise living, this project proposes a required alternative to city growth. Highlighting a trend towards standardisation over the past few centuries, the design proposal will seek to project into a future, where cities will adapt to allow communities to redefine the tower blocks, through an alternative way of living.

Project is about creating a building which brings the city of Montpellier together on an educational and public level.
Y3 - traverse theatres
Designing a new home for the traverse theatre Edinburgh. Working with a live brief, the design is for a new permanent theatre below Edinburgh castle and a pop up theatre homed in the grass market for the fringe.
unbuilt architecture - Y4
Design research unit, alongside the years design project, we are asked to produce a small thesis on a topic of architecture. Looking at unbuilt architecture, it allowed myself to dive into a software called Unreal Engine, this was so I could produce VR walkthroughs of a piece of unbuilt architecture. Researching and understanding the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh allowed myself to produce a 6000 word paper along with a model above of a design Mackintosh had produced but never completed.
Y3 - regeneration, church spire
Working with existing local church , the project was to work with a broken church spire, designing not only a spire but a new entrance and engagement with the existing church, a design in which would create a new interest into the space below.
primary school - Y2
Project was to design a primary school in the Unesco Heritage site in Edinburgh, Scotland. Dealing with a building which needs the security aspect for children and public access for evenings and event spaces.
Y1 - pavilion through structure
Working with paper to develop folding techniques which is taken through to a design and structural techniques to develop and create a pavilion.
